tINY JUNE
June began her journey as an artist in Summer of 2018 and is continually building on years of creative work rooted in storytelling, cultural connection, and social justice. Through her music and collaborative art, she has used creative platforms to amplify community voices and highlight cultural expression as a tool for empathy, dialogue, and change.
Since its founding, The Cultural Exchange (formally Tiny June + Friends) have produced and hosted multiple community-centered events in partnership with local and regional non-profits including The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention & The Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County.
Her work continues to expand through projects such as 'The Salty Reset' Surf Retreats which launched in 2024 to create spaces for sustainable tourism, cross-cultural exchange, and community building in her home country of Nicaragua. These experiences have inspired the vision for bringing similar cross-cultural storytelling experiences to audiences in Houston.
